My journey includes straight D’s in high school and college, and by the time I turned 23, I had held 20 different jobs. It was my next opportunity that would set me on the path to becoming one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the country: I borrowed $1,000 and left my job as a waitress to start a small real estate company in New York City. That company became The Corcoran Group, the largest and most recognized brand in the brokerage business.

I’m a motivational and inspirational speaker, and I’m a small business and real estate expert across all major networks. For the past 16 seasons, I’ve been an investor and Shark on ABC’s five-time Emmy award-winning show, Shark Tank, where I’ve invested in over 200 businesses.
